Hello, I'm Anja and I'm the creator of NiPillows!

I created NiPillows in 2015 through tears and the pain of terribly chapped nipples. I had no idea that breastfeeding could be so difficult to start and I was very unprepared. Having ANYTHING touch them was excruciating so I walked around topless desperate for relief.  I found nothing suitable in the marketplace so I took out my sewing machine and made the first ever pair, referring to them as my 'booby-bumpers'. From then on I included them in every baby shower gift I gave, handmaking one pair at a time.

NiPillows are sewn in Vancouver, BC and still hand finished by me in Burnaby, BC.

I am not a healthcare provider nor an expert in breastfeeding. I am a mother who really struggled with nursing and found some tricks to help me not give up.
